Around-the-clock or as few as four hours at a time, we provide companionship, homemaking, socialization, conversation, and emotional encouragement to our customers. We can encourage and participate with customers in reading, games, in-home and community activities to arouse the intellect and spirit.
A Better Life Homecare can support our customers by providing or assisting you with basic, light housekeeping activities such as cleaning the kitchen, straightening up, vacuuming, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. Assistance with plant and pet care may also be provided.
If you desire extensive assistance with home management, you can select from the following:

At A Better Life Homecare, we understand the importance of both good nutrition and the high quality socialization that occurs with meal time. We can assist in preparing and serving meals to accomplish both of these important goals.
A Better Life Homecare can assist with medication reminders and other health support reminders. We can also assist with scheduling and monitoring health care appointments and in-home visits from home health agencies.
Sometimes it is difficult to “get it all done” on your own. A Better Life Homecare can assist you with running errands or shopping.
Staying engaged is an important part of maintaining a rich life. A Better Life Homecare can provide the transportation and support you need to continue with your community activities such as church, clubs and groups.
We all want to put our best foot forward. We can assist you with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, etc. so you look and feel your best.
A Better Life Homecare can provide live-in companionship to provide personal care, light housekeeping, assist with home management, assistance with and transportation to community activities, medication and health reminders, etc. Monthly RN oversight provided. 180-day minimum.
A Better Life Homecare can provide temporary live-in respite to allow family caregivers time for out-of-town vacations and other “breaks.” Five day minimum.
This includes identifying community resources, helping with any reimbursement challenges, and any other circumstances that might arise.
We will stay with you or your loved one in the hospital to provide companionship, encouragement, and give friends and family peace of mind when they can't be there.
Our basic medical appointment services package includes transportation to and from the doctor, accompaniment to the doctor's appointment, and notes on the appointment.
Additional Services include a meeting before the appointment to cover any questions you may have, review appointment with you and a family member if needed, get your new prescription filled, and follow up
A Better Life Homecare has and Adult Day Center in Hohenwald, TN. The Adult Day Center assists with therapeutic activities and social engagements, as well as providing many community assistance services such as housekeeping and transportation.
